Ian Lowe – Executive Director & CEO
Ian Lowe has broad cross media and marketing experience, accumulated over 20 years of working in and managing media and media related organisations, including George Patterson Bates, Thompson Media, and PMP Limited (ASX:PMP).
Prior to joining Facilitate Digital in 2002, Ian held executive management positions in various technology and media technology companies, including Managing Director of Red Sheriff Ltd and CEO of Traffion Pty Ltd. During Ian’s tenure Red Sheriff grew from a staff of 10 to become a global leader in web analytics and market intelligence, with more than 1000 clients in 52 countries.
Leveraging his extensive business and media experience, Ian has developed and managed small, medium and large enterprises through periods of significant growth, developing and executing global business, product and distribution strategies in industries as diverse as publishing, distribution, IT and digital communications. Ian holds an ASCM performance diploma from the NSW Conservatorium of Music.
Ben Dixon – Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer
Ben’s career in the advertising industry goes back over 15 years and includes roles at several large multinational agency groups including DDB and Mojo. He has wide experience across both the media buying and account management fields having held senior positions directing accounts for advertisers such as Telstra and Kraft Foods. In particular Ben was responsible for the development and implementation of eCommerce and online strategies across a number of advertisers.
In late 1999 Ben conceptualised and then co-founded Facilitate Digital Pty Ltd, assuming the role of General Manager. In the subsequent 3 years Ben played an integral role in steering the business through an industry collapse to a position of strength. Ben assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2003.
Tom Peacock – Commercial Director
With 15 years experience in the media industry, Tom was introduced to digital in 2000 when Outrider (now MEC Interaction) – one of the world’s leading digital marketing agencies – appointed him to develop a consistent brand proposition across all markets within Western Europe. In parallel to this Tom managed Outrider’s international clients, including Canon, Shell and Intel. In 2002, Tom was promoted to Joint Managing Director of Outrider UK, a position he held until 2004, overseeing a period of considerable growth and a return to profitability. In addition, he oversaw expansion of the Outrider proposition most notably into the areas of Creative Development and Search Engine Marketing.
Upon arriving in Australia in April 2005, Tom worked as a Digital Marketing Consultant for major agencies and publishers, before joining Facilitate Digital in July 2006. In his role as Commercial Director, Tom is responsible for leading the Product Development and Marketing agendas.Tom is a member of the FD Consulting Team.
Michael Lane – Director of Best Practice & Innovation
Michael Lane joined Facilitate Digital in 2007 in the role of Director of Innovation and Best Practice. Michael’s career spans 20 years and includes several senior management positions working with Australia’s leading Media Agency organizations George Patterson Bates, Optimedia and Universal McCann. Prior to joining Facilitate Digital, Michael was the founding National Digital Director of Universal McCann Australia, a position he held from 2003 to 2007. Michael oversaw the rapid growth of the national digital practice including recruiting and developing a team of 20 specialists. Michael received the Universal McCann’s Management Award for Outstanding Contribution in 2004.
As someone who has been immersed in the digital and media marketing arena, Michael brings to Facilitate Digital an in-depth knowledge of business best practices, digital media workflow and emerging digital strategies. Michael has a Bachelor Degree in Marketing from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).
Michael is a key member of the FD Consulting team.
Robyn Parker – Chief Information Officer
With over 20 years in the IT sector, Robyn has accumulated a broad range of technical experience in both online and offline environments. This experience coupled with strong commercial acumen and senior management skills sees Robyn assume this critical role with Facilitate Digital as an accomplished and capable industry professional. Robyn’s extensive experience also provides a valuable addition to the FD Consulting team.
Prior to joining Facilitate Digital, Robyn held the positions of CTO for Traffion Technologies and Director of Operations for RedSheriff. In both positions he was responsible for developing and managing cutting edge online measurement tools. Prior to joining Facilitate Digital, Robyn was responsible for the Managed Services division at Oakton Services, a publicly listed IT services organisation, providing application management excellence to a variety of clients by implementing industry best practices.
Timothy Whitfield – Global Director of Technical Innovation
Timothy completed his education at Macquarie University where completed a degree a Bachelor of Technology in Optoelectronics. Timothy entered the workforce and immediately held various senior and executive management positions in Australia and Europe since 1992, including CTO for Business Australia Capital Finance and senior programming roles with MFX Research and One.Tel Communications. Prior to this he was Senior Programmer at FMT in Sweden, where he designed automated aircraft management systems which are currently installed throughout Europe including some of the busiest airports in the world such as Frankfurt & Copenhagen.
Timothy has extensive experience developing bespoke applications, joining Facilitate Digital as CTO in May 2000. Timothy also designed and wrote the programs for the first version of the FFA and Symphony applications. Since then Timothy has played a key strategic role in the development of all subsequently released product modules, scaling of infrastructure 100 fold and currently manages the EU and US datacentres. Tim is a key member of the Facilitate Digital Consulting team.
