Facilitate Digital expands GroupM relationship into Japan

News   30th Oct 2011

Facilitate Digital Holdings Limited (ASX: FAC), a global provider of technology used to buy and measure digital media advertising, today confirmed it has expanded its regional APAC relationship with GroupM to include Japan.

Building on the existing relationship with GroupM, and the ongoing deployment of its’ Symphony workflow and trading platform across the APAC region, Facilitate Digital confirmed GroupM has expanded its program to include an imminent release of Symphony into Japan (Symphony is Facilitate Digital’s market leading digital workflow and trading platform).

Facilitate Digital CEO Ian Lowe said: “working closely with GroupM and its’ constituent agencies in markets such as Australia, Singapore and China, they have seen the opportunity for our workflow and trading technology to benefit their rapidly growing business in Japan.  GroupM have taken both a regional and strategic view of what Symphony achieves for them when integrated with their various external and internal toolsets, and both the short and long term benefits are compelling.  Perhaps most pleasing of all, they are working closely with their major clients to articulate and realise these benefits, so the Symphony value proposition has exposure and concrete sponsorship from the client down”.

“Japan is the second largest advertising market and economy in the world, so an important market for our agency clients as we further build on our global credentials”, said Lowe.

By virtue of the rollout in Japan, Symphony is now available in languages including Japanese, simplified Chinese, French, German and English, with other language versions to be released before the end of the year.
