Symphony 5.8 Launched to APAC hub

News   25th Oct 2011

Facilitate Digital is delighted to announce the release of Symphony version 5.8.to its Asia-Pacific hub. The release incorporates a number of new product features.  However the main purpose of the release is to launch Symphony in both Japan and Malaysia. Symphony is now active in six major markets across the region.

“Symphony’s footprint across the region is being expanded to support major client implementations. It is a very clear demonstration that these clients recognize the value of Symphony in establishing an operational blueprint for best practice, and creating a centralized data asset from which they can glean superior insights than their competitors. This expansion into two more key markets gives Symphony a really strong leadership position in the region”, Damien Thomson, Managing Director APAC, commented, “This is growth that we are supporting by strengthening our regional support teams”.

“From the perspective of product development, the implementations into Japan and Malaysia represent particularly pleasing milestones”, adds Michael Lane, Director of Innovation. “The vision for Symphony has always been global so the fact that we are now successfully implementing the platform across markets so diverse in their requirements demonstrates both the platform’s flexibility and the fact that we are well on our way to achieving that vision”.
